 Appointments & Payment Our services are available to all regardless of age, race, faith perspective or socio-economic background. Counseling sessions are approximately 50 minutes in length. Appointment availability depends upon your therapist's schedule. In general, appointments are available Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Limited evening and week-end appointments are also available. Our therapists set their own schedules so you will make your appointment directly with your therapist. Occasionally our administrative staff will assist you or your therapist in the process. To set up an appointment with a therapist in our Carol Stream office, call 630-752-9750. Business office hours are 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday Financial office hours are 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday Cancellations: Please notify your therapist at least 24 hours in advance
if you
need to cancel a scheduled appointment. You will be charged for an
appointment that has not been canceled within a 24-hour advance
notice, excepting for emergencies or presenting weather conditions. Payment & Insurance: Payment is requested at the time of service. The Central DuPage Pastoral Counseling Center provides several affordable tracks of service to help ensure our services are available to everyone. Your therapist would be happy to discuss the different options available to you. Payment may be made by personal or certified check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. The Center does accept several different insurance plans. You can find out if we are a part of your insurance network when you call our offices. Before your first visit with your therapist, we will contact your insurance company to verify your benefits, identify your co-pay obligation, and any deductible you have left to satisfy. If the Center is not part of your carrier's network, you may have out-of-network benefits that cover part of the cost of counseling. Occasionally an insurance carrier will make an exception to the out-of-network exclusion because of a desire for faith-based counseling. We are a Medicare provider. We do not accept Medicaid at this time. Regardless of insurance, the client is responsible for all deductible amounts, co-payments, and balances that remain unpaid by the insurance company.
